WOMEN'S BOOK CLUB At Three Hierarchs Church Wednesdays * 7:30 p.m. * Three Hierarchs Fellowship Hall In the age of individualism, many women find it hard to make real, meaningful connections with others. And yet, at the heart of Orthodox Christianity is communion, and, in that sense, community -- our communities bind us in love to one another and to God. No man (or woman!) is an island, and with the rigors of everyday life in this modern, chaotic world, we need each other now as much as ever. So it’s vitally important for us to stop, relax, and enjoy our friends and our communities. With this in mind, Three Hierarchs has been hosting a Women’s Book Club every Wednesday night at the church, led by Presbytera Valerie Pyle, since October of 2002. The group provides an opportunity for weekly fellowship and discussion of relevant books of our time.
